CMA CGM confirms the application of a PSS on the Asia-North Africa trade, Asia-West Africa trade (28-01-2010)

In view of the actual cargo rush and in order to provide its customers with the same reliable and efficient services to which they are accustomed during this period, CMA CGM has decided to implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) in the Asia > North Africa trade (Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia). This PSS of + USD 250 per teu will be effective February 1st, 2010. In view of the pre-Chinese New Year cargo rush and in order to provide its customers with the same reliable and efficient services to which they are accustomed during this period, CMA CGM has decided, in the frame of the Asia-West Africa Trade Agreement (AWATA), to implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) in the Far East – West Africa trade of USD 200 per teu. This PSS is effective from January 25th, 2010 to February 24th, 2010.
